Okay I know I said I was going to write about Saddam Hussein in this, and whether or not he should be taken dead or alive, but I’ve changed my mind. I’ll get to that in the next chapter. Here I want to talk about a developing trend (or a trend that may be developing); people getting fed up with the liberal ideology.

This “trend” has been in progress for a couple years now and it seems to be only growing. It started with the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. I think many people supported the impeachment not based on what he did (because his personal life should be no business of ours), and not just because he lied about it. People supported it because they wanted him out of office. They were fed up with the way he was running this country. He was a terrible president, and Americans saw this as their opportunity to get him out of office.

The next event in this movement was the victory of George Bush over Al Gore. Again, Americans had to chose between the ex-Governor of Texas, and the Vice-President of Bill Clinton. And we saw what they chose. Now I won’t go into this any further, because I’m not in the mood to put up with the argument from the left that President Bush didn’t really win the election. He won. He won fairly. He won according to the guidelines laid out in our Constitution. Get over it!

Mitt Romney was the next beneficiary of the new trend.  He won the gubernatorial race in a state where only 16% share his party affiliation. He has since became the best governor in the entire country, and will someday become President.  Romney’s main platform during his campaign was English Emersion. He appealed to voters by pledging that if he was elected every student would learn English, and they would do it in a timely fashion.  Romney has now shown courage in his defiance of legislators who are trying to change his English Emersion program, calling them, “arrogant” and promising that he will do his best to unseat any legislator who tries to go against the obvious will of the people.

The latest development in the trend of getting rid of the Liberals that run our country is the Recall Election in California. Californians are fed up with a governor who ruined their economy. They are fed up by the way that he ruined it too. 70% of California voters voted in support of a bill that said that illegal immigrants should not be able to apply for welfare, should not be able to apply for a drivers license, and should not be safe from the prosecution that is warranted by them breaking the law. But Gray Davis, in his infinite wisdom, decided he knew better than the people. He decided that the people didn’t know what they were saying. He decided that he would take matters into his own hands, give the finger to democracy, and do whatever the hell he wanted. And because of that, he is the most recent casualty in the new battle to get and keep Liberals out of places of power.
