Brad's Apartment
Bored completely out of his mind, Trevor was staring to the blank TV screen for a little more over an hour now. 30 minutes later, Trevor's form changed into that of Wolfbang's and his trance ended as he slowly got off of the armchair. He walked over to Brad's bookshelf, which was a collection of Anne Rice, Amelia Atwater Rhodes, J.R.R. Tolkein, the classic monster stories, and assorted comic books. He pulled out an issue of X-Men and started looking through it.
"Wolfbang sounds so much cooler than Wolfsbane." He said to himself as he put the comic back in the shelf.
"Yeah it does sound cooler." Eve said softly. Wolfbang turned around as Eve was lying on the couch staring at him.
"How was your nap?"
"I wasn't asleep. I was bored out of my mind."
"Really me too."
"So what do you wanna do?" Eve said as she leapt off the sofa.
"I don't know, this city may have some cool places to look up. I'll check the phone book."
"Alright, I'm gonna grab something to drink." Eve said as she walked over to the kitchen. She opened the refrigerator door, which was a Tupperware museum, some stuff looked to be alright, others looked like they haven't been touched for a week. The water seemed to be the only thing appealing to Eve. She poured it into a cup; the cup was a purple circle with a silver crescent moon overlapping. The image was surrounded by several silver stars and underneath the phrase "Eclipse of the Moon: Bar & Nightclub" stood out. "Hey Trev."
"Yeah?" Wolfbang replied.
"How about this place, 'Eclipse of the Moon.' It's a nightclub."
"I don't know, you know our luck with nightclubs. We usually get attacked by a bunch of monsters. Let's just walk around, it's better we just explore."
"Alright." Eve replied. The two headed out of the apartment building walking down the busy street. Various shops and restaurants stood out, all unappealing to them. They looked into several windows, as they noticed in a restaurant full of smoke, Derek was sitting inside. Though it was nice seeing their friend, they both knew that he would change their romantic get together into a free-for-all blitz.
"Derek." Wolfbang said, "Just make pretend he's not there."
"Alright." Eve said, even though right when she said that phrase, she glanced slightly at Derek who saw her and smiled. He leapt out of the booth he was in and ran towards the two. "Oh shit." She whispered.
"What?" Wolfbang replied.
"Hey guys!" Derek said.
"Oh shit." Wolfbang said.
"What brings you guys in the neighborhood?" Derek asked the two, and before they could grasp a bit of air to reply, Derek continued talking, "Come on inside. This place is great. They serve stuff for vamps!"
"Won't find that in Brookstone Meadows." Eve snickered as the three headed off into "Café de Drago." Eve read off the black wooden plank as they entered into the clouded diner. Eve coughed from one of the cigarette clouds as Derek led them to a small booth.
"You guys," Derek said, "guess what?!"
"They serve blood here?" Eve replied.
"'d you know that?"
"You said it like a minute ago." Eve said as Derek was left in silence pondering what had just happened in the last minute. "Ass." She snickered.
"Anyway I also learned two, count em, TWO!" Derek said as he held out two fingers in front of Eve's face.
"Do you want me to rip off your fingers?" Eve asked.
"Can I continue please?"
"You're such an ass."
"I know that. Anyway where was I?"
"Two."
"TWO! TWO MAGICAL SUPERLIKE POWERS! It's great. I'm now super strong and can run really fast."
"You really suck at those though, so now you're probably compared to an average human." Eve chuckled as she and Trevor started to laugh. Derek was left in silence as he lowered his head slightly.
"So now I can run really fast."
"Let's see." Wolfbang said.
"Well I really don't feel what am I kidding, I'll do it now." Derek said. In a split second Derek ended up running out of the booth chair, out of the bar, back into the bar and crashing into a very tall, wide and longhaired vampire with a stoic expression on his face. He growled while picking up the screaming Derek, launching him from one end of the café to the other.
"Oooo." Eve and Wolfbang said as they stood up from the booth and saw Derek lying on ground with his body in shambles. Derek slowly got up and snapped a few bones back into place.
"What a rush! I've never felt so alive." Derek said as he was soon ended abruptly. He slammed down to the floor as a young woman pulled out from behind his back a silver dagger covered in blood.
"What the fuck?!" Wolfbang said as he leapt over the booth table landing hard on his combat boots. "Who the hell are you?" The Asian woman wiped the blood from her dagger letting it rain over Derek.
"Nothing personal," she stated, "but I'm here to kill you."
"You killed Derek you bitch!"
"You can't kill something that is already dead."
"Good thing you're already dead." Wolfbang yelled as he charged towards the slayer. With a swift movement, she grabbed Wolfbang's arm and flipped him to the ground.
"Hey psycho!" A voice yelled from behind. The slayer turned to see Derek leaning on the jukebox. "You missed." He said, "let's rock this joint!" Derek yelled as he banged the jukebox, setting off a song and crashing through the glass. "Ouch!" Derek yelled in pain as the song Purple People Eater started to play, "I love this song!" Wolfbang swiftly did a low kick sweep, bringing the slayer down. She swiftly got up as Wolfbang, Eve and Derek stood next to each other. Eve pulled out her crossbow and leapt back onto the booth table as Wolfbang and Derek charged towards the slayer. She swiftly dodged as she kicked them both in the backs. The slayer lifted her dagger ready to kill them both as it was quickly snapped out of her hand by Eve's arrow. She turned back seeing Eve aiming at her. Eve pulled the trigger several times as arrows flew out. The slayer swiftly ran through the café, dodging them all.
"Damn." Eve grunted as the slayer smirked, but was taken down with a great force. She looked up to see Derek with a look on his face as if he were about to feed. He moved in closer with his fangs showing.
"I wouldn't eat you cause you're so tough." Derek sang along with the song as the slayer kicked him away. She leapt up seeing Wolfbang was right in front of her. Wolfbang grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up.
"Why are you here to kill us?!" Wolfbang yelled. She grunted and quickly kicked Wolfbang off of her. The three have been stopped by the slayer and before she could do finish the job she was supposed to do, she heard light clapping from behind her.
"Very entertaining show." The voice said from behind her as she promptly turned. The voice belonged the one vampire the slayer hated the most, Seth. "I must say I'm impressed Suzy. Against average foes, you stand a decent chance." The slayer scowled as she ran towards Seth. He dodged and pushed her down. The slayer got up slowly and groggily attempted to hit him again, but he did the same action. She went to hit him again, but this time he dodged her and threw her unconscious. Derek and Eve walked towards Seth as Wolfbang walked slowly forwards as well.
"Niceness." Derek said applauding Seth.
"Thanks." Eve said. Seth grabbed her hand and kissed it.
"Anytime fair maiden." Seth said as Eve lightly smirked. What a bunch of bullshit, Eve thought. What an ass, Wolfbang thought.
"Why didn't you kiss my hand?" Derek chuckled.
"Because I don't swing that way. But if you really want a kiss from a guy I have a friend who I can hook you up with."
"I'm not a whore and I'm not gay, but thanks for offering."
