"Life is a lesson better not taught."
Power. It is what moves the world. It was what commands destiny.
Destiny... of your choice.
It’s sad isn’t it? To believe in a fate that is predetermined by a higher source.
How would it feel to be that person... that person who did something knowing the outcome.
In the face of death, people call it courage. I call it stupidity. Still though, we all halt in the face of a self-sacrificing man. A man who is able to sacrifice myself in a fight, in a battle, knowing even it would mean his death.
Stupidity. As humans we are all stupid. Not in the sense of the knowledge that we have, but in the sense of the knowledge we do not have.
Power.
My name is Yumi. Most people know me as Suiren. Most people fear me, respect me, and have no other choice but to bow at my feet.
My life has been consumed by death. Death... death that seeks the heart of men and instills total and utter fear in their hearts. That is power. Fear is power. That is my power. That is my destiny.
All who’ve come to know Suiren... fear... they bow to my power... they bow to me... my destiny.
No matter how tarnished I become.
No matter how pure I become.
I am the power that moves the world. I am the heiress to the throne of the Ruzai, empress of the Yakuza, the goddess of death, the avatar of pain and suffering.
I am... everything and nothing.
I am... Suiren. The tarnished demise and the purest sorrow.
