The Tears of the Forest
The trees, they cry out as they die
Their bodies plummet to the ground
The people cannot hear them cry
Away the birds go fast and high
The animals cannot be found
The trees, they cry out as they die
Upon the forest floor they lie
Their branches twisted in a mound
The people cannot hear them cry
Their arms outstretched up to the sky
The tears, they fall with out a sound
The trees, they cry out as they die
A rustling sigh, they wonder why
The people give them such a wound
The people cannot hear them cry
They tell the public muffled lies
A thousand trees all factory bound
The trees, they cry out as they die
The people cannot hear them cry
