No Hesitation

Swirling in a vast mist of distorted faces

Laughing, jesting, teasing

Their high-pitched laughter resounding into a chaotic symphony

This hideous sound penetrating my steel wall

My determination, my will

Shattering like the result of broken glass between my fingers.

Words of insults hurled like the scattered sticks and stones beneath me.

My loving heart viscously blackened like the dark night above me.

Discarding the crumbled glass wall,

The numerous masks,

My cruel life,

And the unknown identity,

To be faced head on plunging blindly into darkness.

Wandering,

Searching,

Feeling for the light

Until,

Its there in front of me

No hesitation,

No regrets,

Just the rush of light caressing, touching, loving

Dawn Breaks

Stillness

A dead body below the cliffs
