No One Was There

When I needed a friend,
No one was there.
When I needed to laugh,
No one was there.

When I needed to smile,
No one was there.
When I needed love,
No one was there.

When I needed a father,
No one was there.
When I needed a mother,
No one was there.

When I wanted to die,
No one was there.
When I needed someone,
No one was there.

Yes, I know this poem is depressing but I think everyone feels like they're alone at one point or another. When I felt like that I wrote it down and it became this so...hope it wasn't to bad.
