Who Am I?

Who am I that walks the earth?
A single face wandering among many.
Who am I that see the many ways of the world?
Two eyes floating in mid air.

Who am I that tells the truth?
A single whisper amid yelling.
Who am I that thinks independently?
A single being apart from the crowd.

Who am I that helps others?
A kind heart amid corrupted minds.
Who am I that sits quietly?
The silence between words.

Who am I that works hard?
A person who is never seen.
Who am I that walks the unchosen paths?
The one who clears the paths you walk.

Who am I that does not hate my fellow beings?
A rare find in today’s world.
Who am I that does not judge?
A free thinker of the world.

Who am I?
I am the forgotten past.
I am the unforgiving present.
I am the shining future.

I am a silver star in the black night.
I am the sun on a rainy day.
I am the peace during a war.
I am everything that was never seen.

I hope you all enjoyed this poem. It's a rather opinionated piece about all the things that I think society ignores that really shouldn't be ignored. Review please. Frozen Midnight
