Twelve minutes 'til noon.
Thirty seconds to live.
Why end it so soon?
No more time to forgive.
The gun at my head;
The explosives so near
Proved soon I'll be dead,
Yet no feeling of fear.
I had to act now,
Perhaps tell them the facts.
I had a new vow
To make up for my acts.
"I'm sorry!" I screamed,
But my effort had failed.
I wasn't redeemed,
And my life just exhaled.
So I guess that's it,
I was caught by my fate.
I have to admit:
Sometimes it is too late.
