Author's Note: Nineth in the series. Eep! I ensnared myself.
On the Crumbling Crag of Doubt
A Poetry Series
Number Nine:
In My Own Web
Curiosity gets me every time
It is so easy to ask of others
That which I am curious to know
Of them or other things
I've never claimed brilliance
I ask to end my ignorance
But when it comes to me
To asking others of me
I am not quite so eager
As though even asking is unworthy
I fear the answer I will receive
Will be harshly given punishment
For even daring to ask
Curiosity gets me every time
