Tainted Love
It happened so fast,
The pain, sudden and strong.
The fight was finally over, now a part of his past,
And he could feel it in his body, his present wasn't to be too long.
The witch drew out her magik silver blade,
Watched his tainted vampiric blood fall from his side.
Slowly, as he stood, his life began to fade,
He choked back on tears, not from pain, but from the fact that she lied.
A witch, enemy, she was, but hunter she had sworn she was not,
He believed and trusted, soon fell in love.
She said she loved him too, and he had been fooled until they fought,
Now she smiled at his dying figure, knowing she had won.
Of all the pains, his heart screamed the most,
What a fool he had been, trusting and loving one of the enemy, a witch.
His image fading, his soul already gone, long ago became a ghost,
She laughed at the sight of it, suddenly from lovely to bitch.
His loved turned to hate, as he heard her laughter,
But even so, his burning heart made him remember it all.
All her kisses, her tender touch, all the love they had together,
But in the end her soothing love was his fall.
He let go of everything, fell back into the night,
Said goodbye to the world, all friends gone forever.
Took one last look at her, let go of his spite,
Left the world for now and always, to come back never.
