Bliss of Love
She stood before him,
Under the black star-pitted sky.
The moon's light shining back at him,
Through those shimmering eyes.
A crystal tear,
Rolled down her tender cheek.
He reached out,
Softly brushed it away.
She smiled,
For he was there,
He would protect her from all her fears.
Reaching out to her,
He drew her in close.
Lay her head on his shoulder,
Kept her next to his heart.
There she stayed,
