True Identity

What is an identity?

How would you know? You don’t have one. My mask was taken not my face.  But what of yours? Where is yours? Misplaced? Is that you excuse this time? I disappeared from your mind, your soul, not your thoughts. I shall remain there for all eternity.  What’s your true identity?

Bitchy or just f*cked up?

You choose your identity.

Identity…

Ahh, identity is the mask, the persona – the countless façade of an individual, am I right? Everyone has an identity – mask – or what you called.  And the mask is the persona not the face.  Mine? My own mask was motionless on my face… misplace? Perhaps…but I have many more.  You disappear from mind, body soul, but you can never disappear from my thoughts.. for you are my identity.

And I say so.
