Tortured Eyes

I'm being pulled up through a cold sweat
Leaving the sun for a sea of black
Everything's the same
But you still aren't back
We told each other we would stop
That we would forget and move on
So we tried and gave it all
But this is a battle I haven't won
How'd we get here
I guess it's all my fault
Thinking there was more out there
But leaving only gave me thoughts
Was it really the best choice to make
Could we really have stayed so close
Well I can't face reality
So just let me fall off the coast
Can you stand my tortured eyes
So many nights I've awoken
To realize you're in my dreams
And the tears that haven't dried
Attack me like my enemies
They leave scars upon my face
And imprints on my brain
I can't decide if I still love you
My eyes are like two drains
My life is torn in two
Between me and between you
Kill me while you can
At least I'll be able to help your plan
