Death bestows unto the uttered silences a deathly pale hue
Shining eyes that looked so bright, shattered heart of crystal glass
In embers of fighting fire, soul against the oppressing darkness
Falling, lightly ever so quietly ever so suddenly it cascades unto your
light
A shadow passed between us, for a while we were apart
An eternity, not so long ago we stood together
Someday we will glimpse the others heart
But who will fall first from the ethereal heaven?
From the clouds I thought your name
But ever so stealthily you escaped your high pedestal
My adoration of you dropped at last the time of dreams had ended
Reality came rudely into my life, stealing my expectations of humanity away
Stripping me of ridiculous thoughts of your sanctity and splendor
But though you are so far away, in your soul so tortured
A hope in me arises still, that in the ever blackness of night
You in the shadows of your tortured mind, I will find you still
