You only see me once a week,
For a few short hours,
But even then,
It seems as though you're too busy.

Getting calls from work,
Moaning about how much you have to do,
Complaining about the fact,
You have to travel back to see us.

Well, I'm sorry, I do apologise,
I didn't mean to be such a nuisance,
I'm only your daughter,
The daughter you never call,
Never email, or even text.

Yet I hear from my brother,
How you've called him,
Twice, three times this week,
I can't pretend that doesn't hurt.

When I see you, you try and buy me,
Giving me money all the time,
I don't want your money,
What I want is a Daddy.
