I met you one day
And you were so kind
You lent me a shoulder
And you left me to find

That not all guys
Were all the same
And that love
Wasn't just a big game

Now years later
We became good friends
I was happy that I found
Someone that was there

Then one day
You came up to me
And confessed me such a thing
And now I don't know whether
I should follow my heart

I loved you as my brother
Yet you found another way
A way that I thought
That I should keep far away

But I didn't know whether
I would find another like you
Someone decent and kind
Someone who would not break
My already broken heart

So I decided to be your girl
And I found along the way
That you were right
From the very start

That not all guys
Were all the same
And that love
Wasn't just a big game

And til this very day
Up til this moment
I'm with you
And I wish nothing more than
For you to be happy
And to never be blue.

Author's Note: Ok you may think that all my poems were not too long to take, which most of them were, but not this one. This poem actually took me about 2 weeks to make, probably because I wasn't inspired, until the rain came along of course!
