Chapter 1: A Proposal

"I love you Cecile, you will always be my one and only true love." Anthony breathed in my ear. How could anyone not fall in love with Anthony? His shoulder length wavy blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes were just the beginning. His captain's uniform showed off his magnificent build and power. He wore the dark blue tights to match the rest of his uniform and it molded to his strong legs. I could sit for hours and watch him in the practice courts.

He tenderly stroked my arm, which sent thousands of tingles up and down my body.

"I love you too Anthony." I whispered back. I never wanted this moment to end.

"Cecile I need to ask you something."

"Anything my love."

"Would you have me as your husband?" I jerked at that. My husband? He wanted to be my husband? This was too perfect.

"Oh yes! I would ." I threw my arms around his neck and felt his wrap around my waist pulling me towards him. I tilted up my face for what I knew was coming. His face came down to mine and our lips met in a sweet kiss.

I don't know how long we stood there in the palace gardens kissing but I never wanted it to stop. Unfortunately it did but we stood there for some time more, basking in the moonlight, and each other.

"You had better get back before someone finds you missing. I will speak with your father as soon as possible though." Anthony broke the silence. I didn't want to leave him but I knew I had to.

"I'll see you tomorrow night?" I asked as we slowly separated.

"Of course. Good night Cecile."

"Good night Anthony." And then I reluctantly turned and walked away.

A/N: Well? Tell me what you think? It may be a bit confusing during the first few chapters but I'm hoping that everything will be okay after that. On this story I am going to say that I may not be able to update it too often but if I get enough reviews I might go faster. Oh and please keep your flames, if you don't like it then don't read it. But I do accept helpful criticism.
