One swift look at a Harvest Moon
Already noticing her tainted light
Then clouds threaten her mysterious sparkle
For which she has no strength to fight

As she hides and then comes back again
It reminds me of the birds that sing
How they escape the arduous winter
Yet encourage the gentle breeze in spring

As she barely eludes annihilation
With her generous enigmatic glow
Your perception then is tainted
With the self-effacing seeds she's sewn

Deception and lies are her game
Even the Harvest Moon has a tainted name
Perfection and utter strangeness draws others near to her
As she tries to steal their life away, stealing their unadulterated future

The Harvest Moon seems pleasant and nice
But how can you be so sure?
All the trust you've ever known
Has just been shattered on the floor

I live my life now, with a tainted innocence
Seemingly all at once, all my dues have been spent
The Harvest Moon rides victorious again
So we bid our adieu, for tis once more The End.
