Reader’s Note:

This story is a 600 page plus novel that my friend and I are working on; this being the first chapter. So if in the beginning things appear to be unexplained, that’s because they will be explained much further into it.

This story is centralized on two main characters, Alcmene Dawar of the world of Talos, and Tsaran Altarus of the world of Sadeken. The point of view is mainly divided between them; the beginning chapters belonging to Alcmene and then transferring to Tsaran, who Alcmene does not meet until later. They both are connected in their quest for the Modsiw, seeking it both in hopes of it solving the problems of their devastation wrought countries.
