The Lost File
By
Lucifer Dragonheart

The other day I was asked by Tracey to find a file rather urgently so I looked every where for it. First I looked in the cabinet, where the open files were kept to no success so then I checked in the archives for it but still it eluded me. Then I checked everyone's desk in the office where I work but still I could not find the missing file. I was starting to think I was on a wild goose chase until I remembered that Don had a box of files ready to be closed down hidden behind his desk. So up the stairs I went to the Accounts/Admin department and I checked in the box behind the desk.

Unfortunately the folder was nowhere to be seen so I decided to have a look in the cabinet again, incase I misted it the first time. But on the way down I saw that someone had spilled tea of coffee, or some other liquid, on the floor and had not washed it up. I realised in a flash that this was dangerous to the heath and safety of others so I went to the kitchen area and got some paper towels off the wall and started to mop it up. For a minute when I saw it I was tempted to leave it and carry on looking for the file but this could of hurt others. Once I cleaned up I carried on looking for the file.

I went down to the office and looked in the cabinet but still it eluded me. I told Tracey that it was still missing then she typed some things in to the computer. While she was doing this I made everyone in the office a drink. Making sure that I did not spill any of the liquid, once I got down and handed out the drinks Tracey told me that the file was not missing in fact it never existed in the first place! So she gave me the correct file number and I found it right were it was meant to be.

THE END
