Lament in Silence

The page is blank and empty, The voice has died down. The storyteller cannot speak And wears a somber frown.

No tales can come For she is gone. And the music stills To speak.

"Lament in silence for yourself, that person you did not meet."

Shadowy thoughts you can not know Begin to show in fears. And sadness pent inside the soul Breaks way to quiet tears.

The storyteller cannot speak, Her voice was stripped away. And quiet is the world today, For in silence can it sing.
