The Hunt
By: Chicago
Part: 2/?

It all started innocently enough. Chicago had stayed up very late reading fanfiction online and was now trying to avoid detection from the parental unit by being very quiet. But, alas. Fate was not kind. As she crawled into bed she noticed a black spot on her ceiling. Nothing that most would worry about, but she was not most. Chicago flipped on her lamp and gasped. A filthy, disgusting, evil, VILE creature of hell had made it in to her room. How the multi-legged freak had figured it could take up residence in her room was beyond her comprehension right now. Now she had just one mission: search and destroy. That spider wouldn't last the night.

It was watching. She could feel it's many eyes upon her as he hurriedly prepared herself for the hunt. Never before had she been up against such a vile creature alone, but she had no other options available to her. Vacuum was too risky. Might draw the attention of the others in the house. Her only hope was to capture it and release it into the toilet, but how to trick it out of it's cowardly hiding place in the junction of the wall and ceiling? That was where Betsy came in. The fake spider she had made out of a black cotton ball. Betsy was to perfect solution to all her problems. Tying a red bandana around her hair Chicago looked to her partner. "Cover me Allye, I'm going in!" As she crawled across the room grinning like a maniac her partner and pet cat Allye blinked. Her owner had finally lost it. Good thing she got her tuna from the other female in the house..
