"Best Disguise"

A spotlight is the best disguise,
from the tradgedies of life.
Upon a stage you are set free,
it's the only place to truly hide,
from all who did and watch you still.
The only mask you must wear,
is that of your own face,
and the lies you tell and swear are true
are someone else speaking,
using your voice as easily
as if it were their own
and living their greatest desires through you,
in front of many eyes.
