Hold!

I could have sworn,

That two sharks

Passed through your deep

Blue eyes.

Sleek their bodies,

White

Despite the shadows

Of the deep.

Blue,

So deep,

Deeper than anything else

Has ever gone.

High waves rise

In the blue,

High and deadly,

Ready to break any ship

That anchored.

Two white sails

Just passed through your eyes,

The deep sea.

And I taste the bitter

Salt of the ocean.

I'm afraid;

How could I ever

Have thought there was no doubt

There, on the ocean floor?

I'm going under,

Sinking,

Drowning,

And I want no more pain.

I long to be there,

Where silence reigns,

Two thousand miles

Below the deepest sea.

I watch

As two beautiful white wings

Fold around your shoulders,

Caress your skin.

In the rush of depth,

You are beautiful,

In the white light.

Finally,

I know you are here

To take away my pain.

I can't swim any further,

So please,

Turn off those machines

That keep me alive

Far longer than I want.

The light blinds me,

It has swallowed

The sharks and sails,

When I look again.

Please,

I beg you,

Turn off those machines.

Now.

I want no more pain,

I'm going under.

I'm sinking.

Drowning.

Waiting.

For no more pain,

In the place where silence reigns -

Two thousand miles below

The deepest sea.

Watching,

Waiting,

For your blue eyes

To swallow me whole.

Drowning

In the rising storm

Of your blue eyes.

My life taken,

By those deadly waves.

My body

Bloodied,

And torn,

By those white sharks.

And yet I'm still afraid;

And I ask myself,

How I ever could believe

There was no doubt

On the ocean floor.

My white-winged angel,

So beautiful

In the waves of the deep.

Take me

To the place where silence reins -

Two thousand miles

Beneath the deepest ocean.
