How Do You Judge Me?
How do you judge me?
Let me count the ways:
You judge me by the clothes I wear,
You judge the way I style my hair,
You judge me on the books I read,
You judge me on the life I lead.
You judge the way in which I talk,
And the long, hard road I've walked,
You judge me by the man I'm with,
By the love I have to give.
By the tears I often cry,
By the bed I've made, where I now lie,
By the music that I love,
You judge me on all of the above.
Don't label me, just let me be,
Don't always go by what you see,
There's always more than meets the eye,
There's always something else inside.
