To think back over the things I've said about you,
The words of hate,
The way I'd do anything to get out of seeing you,
Makes me think,
Why did I have to be like that?
Why couldn't I be grateful?
I saw you the times I did,
To me you were just the guy that gave me money,
Not as my dad that's doing what he can,
It makes me feel sick,
I never really hated you,
At the time I thought I did,
But now I just think about all the time I could have spent with you and I
didn't,
I couldn't stand the fact that you'd ruined my childhood,
Now I'm realising that you didn't do everything to hurt me,
You did it because you were trying to show that you cared.
