I wish to be lyrically complex
To leave you gasping, jaws agape
In awe of my intricacies
So carefully arranged among the juxtaposition
Of contradicting opinions I voice…
To wind your way slowly, slowly
Through the labyrinth of my mind
To loose the latches on the cages of my thoughts,
Let them fly fleet and free,
Thin wisps of impish pixies dashing
From affirmative to negative
Have you call me aptly "verbal"
As a I verbalize my aptitude
For twists and turns and tumbles
As I slide slippery smooth from subject to subject
In this wide sweeping arc
Of brilliance of words no longer pertinent…
