About my baby. This doesn't end as seriously as it starts.

My Guardian

The sound of soft winds

Whispers in my ear.

She takes away my problems

And takes away my fear.

I am calm with

The knowledge of her near.

The feel of her breath

So gentle and dear.

As I lay quiet

Asleep in my bed,

Motherly she stands

And wards off things I dread.

It isn't until

Her breathing goes boring

That she wakes me up

And I hit her for snoring.

*About my baby (my dog) who sleeps on my bed and snores in my ear.
