Always before the sun returned
In all times past the dawn arose
But now the sphere has ceased to shine
And where it's gone, nobody knows.

Always before the moon glowed full
Its silver light would never fail
But now, it's missing from the sky
Gone, the magic moonlight pale.

Always before, the stars would shine
Their light would pierce the coldest night
But now, they're gone, the sky devoid
and robbed of all its warming light.

Always before the sun would shine.
Always before the moon would reign.
Always before the stars would guide.
Always before...but never again.
