I wrote this to put in the birthday card of some twins that I know, who were turning sixteen. If for some odd reason you feel like you want to use it, you don't need to contact me (although that would be nice), but please credit me at the bottom, as 'kalariah'.

As birthday twins, I hope you’ll see
The way that birthdays ought to be:
Jollity, fun, beribboned hair;
Dancing cupcakes everywhere.

When rises up the golden moon
And nighttime hymns begins to croon,
When shadows fill the evening long,
’Tis then you’ll hear the birthday gong.

With joyful heart and spirits light
As dance you now through all the night,
Look back on this with memory clear—
This special time; your sixteenth year.
