Glitter In The Ashes

Quiet little broken child

Pieces scattered on the wooden floor

They shine like tears for the night sky

And a bird on the wing

Who will you give your jewels to, young one?

Shadow walls that love you most

Defensive claustrophobia

Darkness like a mothers arms tight

And the sweetest daydream

With who will you share secrets, little one?

Is the metal thirsty once again?

Is it feeding time for your baby?

Where are you when you go there?

You left without a word

No scream this time

Glitter fall no more

Glitter fall no more...

No longer yours in the black ash

Are the mourners grieving once again?

Was it feeding time for your baby?
