Forever ignorant

are they

When it comes to news and deaths and such

They don’t bother to catch up

Instead they remain oblivious to everything

except their video games, TV & computer

They remain glued permanently to the screens

Their eyes glossy and unwavering from watching so much

With their smarts and all the resources that they

have,

Why is it so hard to catch up on news that happened

one year ago?

What about even then?

Even then they could’ve just watched the news or

read the obituaries,

But no.

They will always forever remain

ignorant
