whirling crimson stripes
encumber my flight
a dark night-gypsy
sobbing with nauseous truth

the silver bell on the door
was the only farewell i received
sarcasm, a metallic wink

the opal moon condescending
pointing out my escape
with subtle fingers

never again will my feet
perform the hatred-dance
tread your dusty path
do your dusty deeds

come, my stallion
we are all we need
flight is the sweet dream i crave
midnight, my cloak of stars
