The first love that I had,
she was not open to objection,
a placebo on the first go,
though with time came my affection.
With latent woes,
desire rose,
unchecked like an erection,
you thrilled my mind,
and made me blind,
to see the clear connection.

A friend
A foe
A thrill in tow
An ounce of fun
A bag of dro.
A love of mine,
to feel divine,
just one more hit,
and I'll be fine.

For six years we were lovers,
You were mine and I was free,
Though through time the truth uncovered,
All along your will owned me.

I was defined by you,
We were the same,
A pothead was my claim to fame,
A thing that blighted me to shame,
For you I gave my given name.
