A match to a candle.
The fire burns, burns so strong.
The fire breaths the air in.
It radiates light outwards into the lives of so many who are looking for a
way out of their darkness.
More still can be touched by its flickering warmth.
Time passes. The candle melts.
Sometimes the fire dims as it meets resistance, but it always burns on.
But even the candle's fire must one day flicker and die.
The fire can light new candles, starting new lives filled with the warmth
of the first.
A candle in the wind. The flame still burns determined to survive.
Determined to go on burning forever.
Time passes. The candle melts.
The candle will become old and worn, almost depleted. Still the fire will
burn, though now it flickers a lot.
Some candle's surround the old flame as it continues to burn as only it
knows how.
But the candle cannot burn forever, nothing can. Not even the Sun. Forever
is just the dream of the foolish.
Time passes. The candle melts.
The flame is quietly blown out.
