Hurts so Bad

How does no one notice?

How can no one care?

Screaming, screaming dying inside

How can no one see?

How can they not see through my painted smile?

See to the tears and the cries inside

As I feel myself die

So lonely and it hurts so bad

Laugh and pretend it doesn’t hurt so bad

But oh god sometimes it hurts so bad

So many people but still all alone

Never a tear, chilled to the bone

Crying is weak but how can they not know?

How can they not see how hard I try?

How can they not see how hard it is just to stay alive?

Smiles

And she smiles again

Only when the mask slips can you see to her pain

Quick enough, she will

Hide it again

As she smiles

And the tears come down

As she smiles

Heart breaks without a sound

Hiding so much pain

But still

She

Smiles

Hidden Inside

What’s wrong with me?

What do they say see?

Can they see to the hurt inside?

Can they see all the tears inside?

Can they see how you want to die?

Do they hide from what they see inside?

Or do you push them away? To hide what you hold inside

Don’t let them in, hide all the pain inside

Push them away when they touch

‘Cause it just hurts so much

And you can hold your pain

Inside
