And Now I'm Crying

(a/n: um....yeah. One of my better rhyming poems.)

You're standing there

Looking back at me, and smiling

And I smile back

Though inside I'm dying

You're so close and so far

The epitome of the best

And I don't deserve you

Any more than the rest

You ask her to dance

You're so nice that way

And I'm watching you there

So far away

And now I'm crying

The world is now stained

And I'm closing my eyes

Blocking out the rain

You come back and sit

Still smiling from the dance

And you step over those fragments

Of my shattered dreams of romance

And now I'm crying

My heart is now broken

And now I'm dying

From the words never spoken
