How It Is

This is how it is.
This is how it will always be.
You ignoring me. I ignoring you.
Never once trying to strike up conversation.

Silent. Eerie silence...

Nothing will ever be said between us.
The only things you say are criticism.
Telling me what I am doing wrong...
Or insults.

Either that I left my keys...
Or that I can't do anything right...
Saying things that hurt me.
That make me sad and angry.

I never meant for this happen.
I am not some rebellious person
That needs to be taught a lesson every single time...
So why do this?
Why make my day all dark and gloomy?

Thats how it is.
Never speaking in a friendly matter to each other.
Ignoring each other. Only to raise our voices.
Trying to be right. Trying to outdo each other.
Competitive nature. Stubborness blinds us....

I don't want this anymore...

But thats how it is.
Thats how it will always be.
It won't change.
Coldness will always be within our hearts...
It doesn't matter if you are my father and I am your daughter.

Thats how it is....
