Spotlight

Everyone can cut loose every now-and-then. There's no need to be ashamed if all you can see is the spotlight -- a good song can do that to you.

Drums beating
Match the rhythm of my heart
Anticipating
The moment when the music starts
Listening
As the guitar begins the melody
Exploding
Into my mind and being
Corrupting
My every thought and my soul
Losing
Every piece of my control

I have to dance
I don't care
If you think I'm a fool
Or you can't understand
This is my stage,
My chance, my song;
The spotlight of your stare
Should cause anxiety
If only I could see it
But until the music stops
This dance is all that's left of me
