Stuck

A long time ago,

In a time long gone by,

A man donned wings,

And flew up into the sky

But he got stuck on a cloud,

And prayed to God for assistance

Quoting the Bible aloud,

“Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not, behold, your God will come down with a vengeance; he will come and save you, save you to heaven.”

And contentedly, the man waited

For a long time

To this day, there remains

A skeleton in a cloud, somewhere

His middle finger pointed up at space
