Inside, Alone, and Lost

Trapped inside my head,

My mind my only friend.

The only one that listens,

The one that understands.

Segregated from reality,

I stand inside myself.

Shadowed in my thoughts,

Cut off from the world.

Pulled inside by music,

Surrounded by my books.

Curled up in a corner,

Oblivious of dirty looks.

Lost inside my head,

My thoughts unreleased.

Content within myself,

Alone but not lonely.
