                        Sunrise

Like the feeling I get when I first see the sun,

Knowing a new day has only begun,

An aura about your hazel eyes,

Has got me drifting on the early morning sunrise.

In secrets whispered across a rainbow,

Whose colors posses the wings of a sparrow,

A voice of jealousy speaks to us from its frown,

For its beauty is only temporary, destined to come down.

Forever a sparkle has been laid upon your smile,

Like the warm morning dew that only lasts for a while.

Contagious as a yawn, your lips gently drawn,

A symbol of happiness that mine rest upon.

Holding you close as each minute disappears,

One moment with you can erase all my fears.

I am a cloud above the bustling world,

Sailing on the breath of a gorgeous girl.

I’m lost tonight in a thought of pure bliss,

I’m reliving the warmth of our every kiss,

And as another sunset brings a curtain to the sky,

I know the key to these stars above, belongs to you and I.
