It rains and it pours
and that old man doth snore?
It rains cats and dogs:
can you hear them howl?
(poor animals!)

Did anyone ask how
bears make porridge?
They havn't any hands
Wouldn't that be hard?
(and don't they like meat?)

And as for that lady,
now that I've heard:
A fellow did climb
up her hair!
(wouldn't that hurt?)

How do we know that
the Dragons are bad?
Maybe they just
don't like company!
(plenty of people do it)

People who speak while
Jewels and Roses come
from their mouths,
Pay a fortune in Dentist's bills
(though they can afford it)

I wonder about the people of yore:
Whatever were they thinking?
