Something I found in an old notepad. I think it may have been a failed progect for school...in fact, I have a vague memory of not liking it at the time. Oh well, I like it now, so here goes--with only a brief pause to remind you that the poetry belongs to me...not that anyone else wants it. =^_~=

In a Single Breath

Birds in the blue
wandering souls
Passing time
rough waters
Symphony of war
Silence, ocean deep
Fish swim
wandering
men without direction
Uneven footsteps--
thunder in the quiet
A word
A whisper
Oration in a single breath
And fallen
a shooting star
