Heroes
Heroes are people who do what is right.
Heroes are people who 'fight the good fight.'
Heroes are people who stand tall as a kite,
Heroes are people who don't follow the night.

Heroes are people who care for their kin.
Heroes are people who never say 'Fin.'
Heroes are people who reach for the starts,
Heroes are people who'l one day reach Mars.

These qualities anyone can possess a lot,
If you do not care what is in or what's "hot"
This decay is started, but might never end
If heroes step up to the goal at one end.

Today the world hates us, it has ever been so.
Only know we know just how far that hatrid will go.
Instead of wringing our hands oh so low,
Or especially showing them how many down we can mow,

Show them some kindness, though it may be too late.
Perhaps we can avoid the ole' Roman's horrid fate.
History teaches, at least that's what they say,
So maybe we'll learn before we have to pay.

This is not to say I am right,
But it seems so self-defeating to fight,
They say that they hate us:
Will bombing them make us Light?
