On rainy days the sky is clear
After the storm has passed so near.
A rainbow twixt the earth and sky,
A bridge of coulors far and wide.

The people down below do cry
They gaze upon the sight and sigh.
For the wispy coulors strike a tone
Into every heart I've known.

They see a world where peace doth reign
O'er every living thing.
No more hurt and no more tears,
Free from all our human fears.

People watch and sigh and wait,
For the spect'cle to abaite.
They then go on with their daily lives,
Soon the song within them dies.

Forgetting all their hopes and dreams,
They muddle along as the ants do team.
The moment of peace is gone at last,
People do forget so fast.

Forgotten the rainbow stands alone,
Then vanishes without a tone.
No one looks to mourn its fate,
The walls to souls slam down their gates.

Soon only puddles tell the tale,
As little children splash sky's tears.
Man-made boots on nature's feet,
MOther nature seems to be beat.

Sun comes out and dries up rain,
People now do hide their pain
False smiles breed false fronts I hear,
On the people that I hold dear.

A rainbow hidden in every soul,
Tears come down and out it flows.
Some do hide it day and night,
As their hearts constrict so tight.

It is a sad fact that I know
So many people are people's foes.
Rainbow's bind us thick and tight,
But some only feel the bite.

Tears pour out but no one sees,
Rainbows bloosom and fade as trees.
Without water, all things die,
To live without water, how hard we try.
