Dawn comes, Teak thought, surveying the horizon with steady eyes. The
natural murkiness in the woods only seemed to add to the preternatural
vibe. A sigh escaped as she stood to leave to perform her duties to the
princess of the kingdom. Today was especially significant because arriving
for an honorary feast were a few elfin guests. "Royalty of course," Teak
grumbled as she dressed in her peasant garb.
The sun was rising faster as she exited her hut and Teak worriedly whistled
for her horse. With a leap she managed to mount the rawboned gray and
galloped through the dewy foliage, and got soaked in the process. Yes, this
was going to be a long day.
