(A/N: I came up with that phrase and wanted to write a poem to it….I didn’t particularly like the result, but my friend sure did, so I decided to post it…)

Maybe in a thousand years

The moon shall grace the day

And maybe in a thousand years

This will all become okay

And maybe in a thousand years

I'll see the world from your eyes

And maybe in a thousand years

I could see through all the lies

And maybe in a thousand years

No person will go unloved

And maybe in a thousand years

The hawk shall befriend the dove
