Forgotten

I am the eye of inferiority
The monolithic tumor of solitude
The morose darkness you've tried to ignore
Shedding the blood of an unborn tomorrow

My sacred passion has planned this demise
The same passion you delivered once before
Now I attempt to bury the pain-bringer
But it's too troublesome to dig with my hands

The taste of you seemed so genuine at first
I confided in a betrayal of mania
A man's weak mind is easy to overwhelm
While in your eyes, I must remain forgotten

It's the cryptic jargon you leave behind
Making this confusion hopeless to figure
I could be inclined to test out your flavors
If only your heart would display them to me

I'm just curious of the path you've taken
And what drives you to all your conclusions
Perhaps this passion for you remains secluded
Perhaps my burdens have passed from your mind

Incite me on the mystery of you
Why is your verity so formally hidden?
You left me forgotten so very well
Teach me how to forget you like that...
