Last night I had a dream of

Maiden fair with ivory sheen

With raven hair and amber eyes she smiled at me

She held out her hands

And

fell

to

her

knees

Time seemed to freeze as she fell into my arms

Her face frozen in confusion, I looked up in alarm

The demon just laughed at the look on my face

And looked at the girl dead in my embrace

The blood from her back rained down on my face

And I turned away my head, filled with disgrace

I didn’t protect her

She was standing right there!

The guilt I felt was more than I could bear

I lay her down to permanent sleep

And before I knew it I began to weep

Yipes, dark no? No more scary Inuyasha fics before bedtime for me now…And sorry, some of the rhymes seemed kind of.. cliché to me.
